The five full working applications — the parts of Luminaux you actively do things in. Each saves its data in your browser (until connected to a live API).

Scrumboard

What it is: a Kanban board for managing tasks across columns (To do → In progress → Done, etc.).

Where to find it: Dashboard → Applications → Scrumboard. Route: /apps/scrumboard.

How to use it

  1. Move a task — drag a card from one column to another, or reorder within a column. You can also move a card with the keyboard: focus it, press space/enter to pick it up, arrow to move, and space to drop.
  2. Add a task — use the inline quick-add composer at the bottom of a column: type a title (and optionally a description, due date, and assignee) and confirm. The composer closes after adding.
  3. Open / edit a task — click a card to open its detail modal, where you can edit its fields.
  4. Card menu — click the three-dot menu on a card for quick actions.
  5. Filter — use the filter bar at the top to narrow the board; a Reset button appears only while a filter is active.
  6. Cards show tag labels, due dates, and assignees.

Tips

  • Your board is saved automatically in your browser.
  • When no cards match your filter, an illustrated "No matching tasks" state is shown.

Chat

What it is: a full messaging workspace with direct messages and group chats. Chat also appears elsewhere in the app as a floating bubble or a pinned rail (see below).

Where to find it: Dashboard → Applications → Chat Widget. Route: /apps/chat.

How to use it (the full Chat page)

  1. Pick a view — the slim icon rail on the left switches the list between Chats, Groups, Pinned, Files, and Notes. The Calendar icon jumps to the Calendar app.
  2. Filter conversations — in Chats view, use the All / Unread / Online control and the search box to find a conversation. You can also switch the list between comfortable, compact, and grid display modes.
  3. Open a conversation — click it to open a thread pane. You can have up to three threads open side by side.
  4. Send a message — type in the composer and press Enter. You can:
    • add emoji from the picker,
    • attach an image (up to ~1 MB),
    • reply to a specific message, add a quick reaction, copy, or delete your own message from the hover action bar.
  5. Manage a conversation — the three-dot menu offers pin, mark unread, mute, and clear history.
  6. Drafts are kept per conversation, so half-written messages survive switching threads.

How to use it (bubble & rail)

  • The chat bubble is a floating launcher (bottom-right) that opens a compact panel — works on mobile.
  • The chat rail is a slim strip pinned to the right edge (desktop). Click an avatar to open a contact card (with Message / Call / Mail / Video actions); Message opens a small floating chat window. Windows stack (up to three) and each can be minimized or closed.
  • Turn the bubble or rail on/off in the Customizer → Widgets.

Tips

  • Muted conversations don't add to your unread count.
  • Press Esc to close the focused thread pane or window.

Contacts (Applicant review)

What it is: a two-pane workspace for reviewing job applicants — a list on the left, full detail on the right.

Where to find it: Dashboard → Applications → Contact Applications. Route: /apps/contacts.

How to use it

  1. Find an applicant — search by name, filter by status, and sort (including by star rating) from the list header.
  2. Open one — click a row to load their detail. Use the prev/next buttons or the ↑/↓ arrow keys to move through the filtered list; Esc deselects.
  3. Review the tabs — Documents (download / delete / demo-upload), History (a timeline), Details, and Interviews (cards + an interview modal).
  4. Act on an applicantApprove, Schedule, or Reject from the quick actions; each adds a history entry and shows a confirmation toast. The three-dot menu can copy their email, print, or delete.
  5. Rate — click the stars to set a rating (click the current rating again to clear it).
  6. Tag — add custom tags from the applicant's tag control.
  7. Add an applicant — use the add button to open the new-applicant modal.
  8. Bulk actions — turn on select mode, tick multiple applicants, and use the floating action bar to approve / reject / delete them at once.
  9. Export — download the currently filtered list as a CSV.

Tips

  • The selected applicant is reflected in the URL (?id=…), so you can bookmark or share a direct link.
  • Everything is saved in your browser and re-seeds on Reset.

Calendar

What it is: a full events calendar with month, week, day, and list views.

Where to find it: Dashboard → Applications → Calendar. Route: /apps/calendar.

How to use it

  1. Switch views — use the segmented control (Month / Week / Day / List). On small screens it opens in List view.
  2. Navigate — use prev / today / next; the period title updates as you move.
  3. Create an event — click Add, or click-and-drag across time slots to draw one, then fill in the event modal. You can also drag a category chip from the sidebar onto the calendar.
  4. Edit or move an event — click it to open a quick-view (when / where / attendees / description), then Edit, Duplicate, Delete, or Export .ics. Drag an event to reschedule it, or drag its edge to resize.
  5. Filter — use the sidebar's category filters and mini-calendar; the "Upcoming" list previews what's next.
  6. Recurring events — set a repeat rule (frequency, interval, weekdays, until) in the event's Repeat section; recurring events are edited at the series level.
  7. Import / export — the toolbar overflow menu can export all events or import an .ics file.

Tips

  • Clicking a day number jumps into Day view for that date.
  • Hovering an event shows its details as a tooltip.

Pricing

What it is: a polished marketing pricing landing page — a template you can adapt for a public site. It's presented full-width without the sidebar.

Where to find it: Dashboard → Applications → Pricing Tables. Route: /apps/pricing.

How to use it: scroll through the sections — hero, trusted-by logos, plan cards, a sticky feature comparison table, a metrics band, a testimonial, an FAQ, and a call-to-action. It's designed as a reference/marketing surface rather than an interactive tool.

Tip: the reusable sections behind this page are documented for developers in the Pricing guide.
