A multipurpose Next.js 16 + Tailwind v4 admin dashboard template by PVR Tech Studio — server-rendered, 13 skins, 6 dashboards, 98 pages, 70+ components and 8-language i18n on localised URLs. Explore the docs and ship faster.

Luminaux is a premium, multipurpose admin dashboard template built as a real, working application — not a static-JSON demo. This edition runs on the Next.js 16 App Router with React 19 and TypeScript (strict), styled with Tailwind CSS v4, and covers a full product surface: six role dashboards, five real apps (calendar, chat, contacts, scrumboard, pricing), a deep component library, complete auth / settings / email-template / error / cookie-consent / FAQ page sets, 11 color skins + 2 full-design layouts (Bento Studio & Console), dark mode and eight-language internationalization.

This documentation covers the Next.js edition. Looking for the Vite/React source edition instead? It is documented at /docs/luminaux/react — a separate product with its own download.

What the server does for you

This is not the client template wrapped in a Next shell. The server is doing real work:

  • The first byte already carries the visitor's design. Theme, skin, OLED and layout preferences are mirrored into cookies and read during the request, so there is no flash of the wrong design and nothing to correct after hydration.
  • The locale lives in the URL. Every route sits under a [locale] segment, so /ja/apps/chat is a real, shareable, indexable page rendered in Japanese on the server.
  • Auth runs on the server. Sign-in is a Server Action that writes an httpOnly session cookie, with an env-gated route guard that redirects before any JavaScript loads.
  • Shell data is fetched server-side. Sidebar badge counts and the notification feed come from the server, with the bundled seed as a fallback.

Key facts

  • Stack: Next.js 16 (App Router, SSR), React 19.2, TypeScript 5.7 (strict), Tailwind CSS v4 (CSS-first, no config file).
  • Theming: token-only colors — 11 color skins + 2 full designs (Bento, Console) plus a Light / Dark / System mode, all resolved server-side. No hardcoded colors anywhere.
  • Real apps: Calendar (FullCalendar), Chat, Contacts, Scrumboard (dnd-kit Kanban), Pricing, and a live Invoice builder with .xlsx/PDF export.
  • Data viz: AG Grid Community, plus Recharts, ApexCharts, ECharts and Chart.js demos.
  • i18n: next-intl with ICU messages compiled from flat locale files, 8 languages (en, fr, nl, de, es, pt, zh, ja) on [locale] URLs.
  • Motion: the free motion/react tier only — selectable page transitions, splash/loaders, and a reusable FX library, all reduced-motion safe.

Conventions used in this documentation

  • Import paths use the @/… alias (maps to src/).
  • Colors are always referenced as semantic tokens (bg-surface, text-foreground, bg-primary, …) — never raw hex.
  • User-facing strings are i18n keys; proper nouns, numbers and brand names stay literal.
  • Code snippets are taken from the actual shipped source so you can adapt them directly.
